First allocated room smelt strongly of cigarettes, so asked for another. I think your appreciation of the Night Safari depends almost entirely on when you go. I went the day before New Year's eve and there was a huge and pushy crowd. The place was completely OVERSOLD. Booked this through their website. Got a very good rate. Realised why when I got there. The hotel was under renovation. Between 10am and 6pm, the drilling and jackhammering can literally drive you nuts. Fortunately I was there for business and not for a leisurely nap!
