I booked this hotel based on other TA posts. I can't believe its not ranked much higher. The hotel is beautiful. Our room was large and comfortable with a lovely balcony overlooking the water. We LOVED Maria. Michelangelo and Mama were also wonderful and accomodating. The morning cappucinos were a wonderful way to start the day and inspired me to... more

If you're planning to stay in Positano, stay here! My wife and I spent the first part of our honeymoon here in September 2008. This is a small family-run hotel, and the welcome is amazing. Michelangelo, Maria and Mama are wonderful hosts. They are warm, generous, attentive and funny. We have never been made feel so welcome in any hotel... more

Very friendly hosts Maria and Michelangelo, couldn;t do enough for us. Spacious room with large balcony (chairs and sunlou ngers) and fab view over Positano and sea. Some traffic noise in the day (noise echoes round the cliff face!) but quiet at night. Very clean and comfortable. Bowl of sweets in the room a nice touch. Breakfast good, but breakfast... more

We have been coming to hotel Prisco practically every year ever since they opened in year 2000. For us, this is the best place to stay in Positano. First of all, what makes it special is the hardworking family of the owners - Maria, Michelangelo, and Mama. They treat us as we are part of the family, too and we... more

Wonderful Maria, Michael Angelo and their mother are the perfect hosts. My now husband and I travelled to get married in the beautiful Santa Maria Assunta Church in Positano and stayed at the Royal Prisco for a week. The rooms are pristine, the views are amazing and the hospitality is second to known. We could not recommend this hotel more.... more

One word...stupendous! My husband and I stayed here for 4 nights in July 2008. We had stayed in a few four star hotels in Rome, Florence, and Venice. In our opinion, this quaint 3 star is definitely worthy of 4+. After visiting the busy, large cities, it was wonderful to come and unwind in Positano. The hotel staff was so... more

I stayed at Royal Prisco in May 2008, having looked forward to the visit for months. The hotel is well located, the people are very friendly and were very welcoming. The rooms are quite new and well appointed and very clean which was good. The hotel's website states that each room has (amongst other features) its own balcony overlooking the... more

My girlfriend and I stayed for 3 nights in October. We wanted a romantic escape, the perfect refuge away from the miserable weather of bristol.. and we have found it. Right above the sea within easy walking distance to any of the many shops and restaurant, Royal Prisco is an extremely elegant, family run hotel with bright mediterranean decor and... more

My husband and I stayed 2 nights here in early May 2007. We are Hilton Diamond members and had just come off a stay at the Rome Hilton Calvieri and the Sorrento Palace where we were upgraded and treated very well. We thought that nothing could impress us after those. We were wrong! Every aspect of this B&B was absolutely... more
