After our Aer Lingus flight from Dublin to Budapest we have checked into the Kempinski Corvinus Hotel Budapest for 3 nights and settled in our room no. 622. The building itself is super modern and was built from an famous hungarian Architect. The Check-in was swift but unpersonal! Our room was large and plush furnished with some thai and international... more

I stayed at the Kempinski for work and a bit of vacation. It is an upscale hotel and perfect for business travelers or people who want the amenities of a full-service hotel. The hotel is beautiful, but if you are seeking immersion into Hungarian culture you won't get it here. Food was good. Gym was good by European standards. Our... more

Finally I find the time to let all of you know how amazing this Hotel is. The genuine friendly smile you get from everybody makes this hotel really something special. It starts with the doormen and does not stop. Even though they upgraded to lobby you did not feel it. We stayed in a junior suit and it was really... more

The Kempinski provides a poor welcome for its non smoking guests as the three areas on arrival - the reception, the lounge lobby and the jardin bistro are all for smokers. The only place for non smokers is when having a meal. We were not able to enjoy any of the public spaces of the hotel, therefore, and just went... more

I booked the hotel through their own website and asked for a twin room. The only twin rooms they have are "superior rooms" so I booked it. It was nice enough room but i wouldn't have called it superior by any means. The bathroom was lovely and big with a separate shower. The bedroom was quite small. Our room view... more

We considered staying at the Four Seasons or InterContinental, both of which offer better riverside locations. However, given their exorbitant prices (considering it's truly low season right now), we bypassed them for a reliable Kempinski hotel at a fraction of the price. We're glad we did. The deluxe room was spacious - probably 40m2 - and had a nice, well-lit... more

Luxury but .......ridiculous They take advantage of the naive western tourist that cannot read the bill, No coffeee maker in the room only in the lobby for a x3 price, charge you for phone calls that even did not get through, charge for watching TV or listen to radio in the room, not the payed movies, just simple TV, they... more

Kempinski Corvinus Coming from a River Cruise on the Danube on the Premicon Queen (excellent ship) we were a little spoiled , but nevertheless found everything in the Hotel to our convenience. We were welcomed by very friendly stuff and found our room spotless clean and comfortable. The room was nicely decorated in bright, creamy colours which matched the honeycoloured... more

We enjoyed our stay at the Kempinski Hotel. Found the staff very helpful. We asked for a specific kind of restaurant, and they recommended one that was perfect. The breakfasts were terrific. more
