Syed at this hotel a year ago, and we were happy to find that it was just as great now, a year on. Having just stayed at Le Meridien in Vienna, it was wonderful to arrive at a hotel where service is impeccable, and the rooms just as large and comfortable, but even more luxurious. There are so many great... more

A very comfortable hotel ideally located to all attractions and transport links. Room was very spacious, comfortable and well appointed. Gratis bottle of champagne because it was our wedding anniversary was appreciated. and typical of the understated attention to detail that is sadly missing from some other five star hotels. Concierge service particulary good. Overall much better than one of... more

This was a return visit to this excellent hotel right in the heart of Pest. It is convenient to public transport (the intersection of all three metro lines) and situated on a quiet park (Erzsebet Ter) only a short walk to the Danube & the famous chain bridge. The rooms were spacious, clean and well-appointed. Service was understated and friendly... more

I hate to spoil the party here but for me this hotel is a 3.5 star property. It could easily be a 4 star with a few improvements. The management doesn't seem 100% on top of things. Concierge operations are not smooth enough or well coordinated between concierges. Likewise for the bellmen --- I often had to go ask someone... more

This is a beautiful property with a perfect location. It is only a few blocks from the basilica and the Jewish synogague, both of which are must sees in Budapest. It is around the corner from the shopping area for both tourist and ordinary shopping. Consequently there are numerous restaurants and cafes nearby, as well as an underground stop. It... more

We booked through Expedia having read reviews here and elsewhere. We were given the room we were after, a corner Executive room on an upper floor. We sent a note to the hotel to say it was our anniversary and a small (and extremely delicious) chocolate cake was there on arrival plus a bottle of wine that I had asked... more

Excellent hotel in superb location. Initially we opted for Danube view properties, but than LM offered better deal. And it was right decision to choose it. Check in was smooth with guest relation manager escorting us to the room. Not all Le Meridiens GR do that. Very clean and well maintained room as well as public places. One of the... more
