Was looking for an upscale hotel near Ft Lauderdale beach for a few days after Christmas. Bid on Priceline and got room for 200$. First we were put in a remote dingy room in the Lanai area (two storey buildings near the pool , facing either the pool or the waterway behind). The hotel was completely full as it is... more

We stayed at the Hyatt Regency Pier 66 for one night after a week long cruise. We got the room for $105 on Priceline.com. The front desk clerk upgraded our room to a renovated pier view room as it was our first time at the Hyatt. The room was absolutely huge with a small sitting area in the bathroom. The... more

We stayed in the Tower and the weather was rainy and chilly. We turned the thermostat up and it was still so cold that my husband had to keep his winter jacket on. After complaining we found out that there is no heating system in the Tower, only air conditioning. We were transferred to the Lanai, and the rooms have... more

Just got back for a mother daughter getaway ath the Hyatt. I must tell you that BOBBY THE BELLMAN made out trip even more special. His help and guidance on how to handle our sightseeing along with his suggestions made out stay effortless and memorable. You can tell he truly loves his job.. He was such a joy to work... more

Booked this hotel as a pre-cruise stay for one night. I booked using Hyatt rewards so the room was free. The normal room they give you is the Garden/Marnia room which are small 2 story buildings located around the pool area. Wanting to be higher I asked for a tower room, which they granted. I chose this hotel based on... more

Outstanding customer service! One of the very best hotels I've stayed at. This was our second year in a row because we were so impressed the first time. The bellmen and front desk personnel are some of the industry's finest. Great rooms, views and amenities. Terrific restaurant and lobby bar. Will be back again next year. more

My fiancé and I stayed at the hotel for four nights at the end of October. The lobby area is very spacious and modern looking, and all the Front Desk and Door staff are very pleasant and helpful. We were put in to one of the refurbished rooms overlooking the pool area. These rooms have small balconies, which are great... more

For those that were expecting more.......you sure do have super super high expectations. This resort had it all, and is a bar above the majority of other hotels in the area. We were there in mid October and I did not see ANY construction ANYWHERE. The bellmen and the front desk were super courteous......we were allowed to check into our... more

The hotel itself is a bit old, (seventies refurbished?). We stayed in the Lanai rooms, which are behind the main building, with a balcony overlooking the marina. Rooms are very confortable, superior beds and linen, Marble bathrooms, nice! The price was the best of all, payed $119 per night, which is a good price for Hyatt chain, I wanted to... more

My wife and I have been going to the Pier since the 80's and we up until the late 90's we absolutly loved it there. Everything was first class. Then it started to go down hill . Finally in 2002 we stayed for the last time it was terrible. I saw that Hyatt had taken over and renovated the entire... more
