Location doesn't get any better. It's HALF a block from the beach (if you use the alley entrance) and is quiet, unlike hotels that face Ocean Drive. This is a nice clean hotel. The beds are comfortable, but not much else stands out. The location is great, close to beach, restaurants, and clubs. If you are looking for a place just to crash and no more then this is it. more

What I excepted for the price. Not the cleanest but ok, close to the action but can be loud especially late in the night when young adults are returning from a night out. Mitch runs a beautifully restored, comfortable place. The hotel is a block from the beach and without the pretense of other hotels nearby. Great hardwood floors and art-deco details, bike rack in the lobby (cheap bike rentals nearby), and classic, no-frills charm. The beds are great and our room had a kitchenette. Got into an arguement with my wife when she asked "Why I like staying in Swanky hotels" So that was'nt the way to start off our stay there. Only problems we had were 1. I would definitely consider staying there again. If you like more room/ spacious, and a laid back "come and go as you please feeling, a litttle home away from home (little kitchen and refrig)", then this is the place for you.
