We stayed at Laterra July 11-14, 2008. The place is BEAUTIFUL. There is an open-air entry, fountains, perfect landscaping and immaculate rooms. The pool and jacuzzi area are surrounded by gardens a fountains and water-features. We rented the 2 bedroom/2 bath condo and it was huge. The kitchen lacked nothing and the free movie rentals was a nice added perk.... more

Sunday, 3/16/08, my cousin and I visited the Laterra Spa for massages and to spend some time away from the kids. We were blown away by the service, the facilities, and the massages themselves! I've had massages at other spa resorts, day spas, and on cruiseships, and everything about this spa and this massage was superior to the others. The... more

My husband and I stayed at Laterra last fall and it was fabulous. We stayed in Suite 112 in the Spa building and it was spacious and very clean. The patio opened up to the pool and the water fountain outside was very soothing. We sat on the patio most evenings and enjoyed the water sounds and the surrounding nature.... more

I didn't stay at Laterra because I live nearby- but I have gone for spa services and love the place! The atmosphere is very zen and calm, the robes are luxurious (and they have them that fit every size person), you can use the steam room, relax in the round room, lie by the pool- all in addition to your... more

My husband and I booked a two bedroom/ two bath condo for an eight day golf vacation with two other family members. The condo was immaculate and spacious, beautifully decorated and very comfortable – a vast improvement over adjoining hotels rooms for an extended period of time. The bedrooms were at opposite ends of the living room/dining room/ kitchen common... more

My Husband and I travel a lot, and always book online. The Laterra Website was down and so we booked with Hotels.com. The Laterra was overpriced and located about 15 miles away from everything. The worst of all we had no Air Conditioning in our room. When my husband went down to talk to the desk, the maintance person came... more

With a visit to St.Augustine, Laterra Resort & SPA was one of our choices and by chance. No, its not close to the Old City but the drive is short. Having six in our group, it was not easy to find a place for all of us in the Old city. But Laterra did have some accomodations and landed on... more

My husband and I stayed at Laterra resort and spa and we LOVED it! The World Golf Village was right across the street for maximum convenience and there are some great restaurants nearby and in downtown St. Augustine. We used the beach club two days and it was plush with food and not too crowded. We met some really nice... more

My husband and I stayed at Laterra the beginning of February. It is located in World Golf Village and is about 20 minutes from downtown St. Augustine and the beaches. It has a beautiful pool and very nice landscaping. The rooms are spacious and very clean and the beds very comfortable. There is also a SPA on premises that looks... more

I gave up my St. Francis Inn in St. Augustine to try something different and never more will I do that. I went over the Thanksgiving week (Weds-Sun), booked a 1 bedroom suite, and felt I spent my vacation driving back and forth to town. Pros: spacious, full size kitchen, dining room with table and six chairs, washer and dryer,... more
