Honestly the hotel was not that bad. But......The TV in our "first" room had a little problem. The TV shut off by itself and my girlfriend asks if I accidently hit the sleep timer or somthing. Seconds later smoke is coming out the back of the thing. We unplug it in a hurry. They end up moving us to a... more

My family and I stayed at the Days Inn on a Saturday night. It was fine, nothing fancy but we weren't expecting anything fancy so that wasn't a problem. Our room was clean, and we actually got a free upgrade because there weren't many people staying there that day. The room was small but we had a fridge and microwave.... more

We only stayed one night on 11 Sept 08 as a quick stop before an onward journey northwards. This hotel is good value for money and is typical of what you would expect from the Days Inn Franchise. It has a Dennys restaurant and an Irish bar onsite and we found the former very useful. It also has a swimming... more

We stayed from 9/25-28/08 for our 25th wedding anniversary. We loved the place it was just what we wanted. We wanted a place close enough to walk and that is what we got. We walked everywhere we went except when we went over to the lighthouse, Anastasia Park, and the winery. We did not waste money on the tour trains... more

We stayed at this Days Inn after reading the reviews on here. For the most part we were pleased. The room was fine and over all pretty clean. For the price we were satisfied...except for the carpet. There was a perfume smell in the room when we walked in(we are smell sensitive and some smells trigger asthma and give us... more

My mother and I stayed here for a long weekend while we were in town taking care of some pre-wedding business. We didn't need anything fancy--just a clean, quiet room that was close to downtown. We got just that. The room was a decent size with two double beds. Also, there was a mini-fridge and a microwave. The bathroom suited... more

We were on a school trip and the room was pre-booked and I had no choice but to stay. I wore shoes the entire time in the room and was there to sleep and shower only. The major complaint is the smell of the room. They must use a very powerful room deodorizer which instantly gave me a headache. I... more

Days Inn Historic - Terrible April 22,2008 Frequent traveler, Toms River, NJ My granddaughter's feet were as black as coal from the rug. The management argued that the rugs were cleaned the week before. All I asked was that someone come in and give the rug a good vacuuming. The rug is black in color so I guess they felt... more

We were surprised at how expensive lodging was priced in St Augustine. We wanted something fairly central, without paying too much, and this place fit the bill. It does sit on a busy highway, but all the rooms are well away from the traffic. It's less than a 10-minute walk to the city gate at the north end of the... more

We were so looking forward to our visit in St Augustine. Several hotels we inquired about were booked so after much searching, we decided on Days Inn. When we arrived the receptionist was friendly and checked us in. Upon going up to our room ... that is where the disappointment began. The room smelled with some strange odor that did... more
