Went to St. Augustine beach for the Georgia/Flordia football game. The hotel rooms where to be expected at a beach hotel. The moment you walk through the door you leave sand tracks in the room. We arrived at the hotel really late and the person next to us had a dog that was barking through the door between the rooms.... more

The outside of the hotel and the landscaping is obviously where this hotel invests all of their money. Upon entering our room, we noticed the door was missing a lock. Our room door didn't shut completely, either. We had to check out 9 other rooms (two of which were occupied already and disturbed the rooms we were told we vacant).... more

This past August 2008, We had reserved a king bed (no smoking) room and to our suprise got a 2 queen smoking room... The hotel was under renovation and very torn apart looking. Out room had HALF of the popcorn scraped off of the ceiling, the bathroom door lock was broken, the water got cold in less than 8 minutes.... more

We booked a room here because of its location on the beach and it was the closest motel to St Augustine's ampitheater, where we were going to a show. While this is an older hotel undergoing renovation, I must say that the staff made it a great stay. Friendly, Helpful and very Pleasant!!! That alone made me overlook the average room still in process of renovation. It will be beautiful when complete. There are some great extras being put into the rooms. more

The Hotel grounds are spacious. You can walk around and not be crowded. Keep walking and your on the Beach! Again, we were on the BEACH!!! We did not have to cross a busy street with kids.
