We stayed at the Waikiki first week in Nov.The hotel was very clean and staff all ready to greet you with a smile. The entertainment was very good and they seemed to have plenty on for the kids. Tv in room with 30 channels,including films. The food was very good,you could always find something you liked and plenty of it.... more

Had a great holiday here and found some of the negative reviews to be exaggerated. There was a mix of English and German people but we never found any of the Germans to be rude. This was our 2nd visit to the waikiki,for 2 weeks break.we last went December 2007.We enjoyed our stay last time and particulary the kids club and entertainment team who are toatally fabulous that we decided to return.Anyone with kids will find this a blessing as some kids clubs dont fit this high standard. We have just returned from a week at the Riu Waikiki Hotel and had a fantastic time, would definately recommend this to other families. The hotel, rooms and poolside are very clean and staff very friendly. Food good with plenty of choice.
