New Hotel, clean and taken care of. Rooms were nice, beds very comfortable. Good breakfast in the morning. I would recommend this hotel. The neighborhood doesn't offer anything in the way of ambiance, mostly offices and industrial park. But, it's safe and clean and well run. Good for the business traveler or those passing through the Otay Mesa border crossing. more

I really enjoyed spending a weekend at this hotel, which is a brand new facility. The people behind the desk were friendly, and they automatically upgraded me to a suite. The Otay Mesa, CA Holiday Inn is very new and really a nice place to stay. We did get lost and I'm from San Diego. It's in a very off location (905 freeway) and in a business/industrial area. I kept second guessing if I was driving the right way and we called the front desk like 4 times for directions.... more

If you're at the south or southeast end of San Diego on business, this is a good place to stay. Clean, functional and comfortable. Very friendly and efficient staff. However, rooms are less well soundproofed than Hampton Inns and if your neighbor has the TV on loud, you'll get some noise. If it weren't for that, I'd give this a... more
