We visit Santa Fe once or twice a year and have enjoyed a number of hotels, but this property stands out for us. Deluxe king room with fireplace and balcony was immaculate. Entire hotel, from lobby up looked as if it had just been polished to a shine. Staff, from front desk folks to Ron (the great bartender at El... more

My mother and I just spent 3 nights at this fabulous little hotel in Santa Fe. The location could not be beter and the staff was fantastic - welcoming and friendly. The room was well decorated, the beds & pillows very comfortable and the housekeeping was impeccable. The lobby is very attractive - makes you want to curl up with... more

We stayed in this hotel for four nights in early October, We had a traditional room which was very clean with comfortable beds. The complimentary breakfast was wonderful serving both hot and cold choices. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful to us in every way.....with directions to restaurants and tourists places to see, making reservations etc. I would highly... more

We stayed here just for one night last week and thought the place was nice. We had a superior room with fireplace. The room was well maintained and clean but did smell of smoke. We ate at the Grill there and it was cheap but okay food! We ate at the bar and the waitress acted like we were bothering... more

We loved our four night stay at the Inn of the Governors. The staff were extremely warm and welcoming. When we arrived we were extremely tired from having to leave Dallas on an earlier than planned flight due to the threat of Hurricane Ike's tropical force winds (which never actually materialized in Dallas). The staff was so welcoming to us... more

There is nothing wrong with this hotel except for the layout of the building. It looks like a motel! There are cars parked in front of the rooms and we had people walking by our window all the time. The room was rather small. Since the windows are small, too, the room is quite dark at that. But everything inside... more

I let my traveling companion make all the arrangements for this trip and I couldn't have been more pleased with these accommodations. The room was adequately sized, immaculate, and I LOVED the triple sheeted bed which was extremely comfortable. We were warmly greeted at check-in and thoroughly enjoyed the tea and sherry afternoon gathering where we met the other guests.... more

This was our second stay at the Inn of the Governors. The location is great, the staff is attentive, and the breakfast buffet is delicious! We especially enjoyed the sherry hour each afternoon and the wood-burning fireplace in our room. Definitely will stay here on our next trip to Santa Fe! more

Our room had two queen beds. Each bed was so close to the wall that one person could not get in on their side of the bed. These rooms are WAY too small for two beds. In fact, evertything was very tight. The beds were just so so, however, the decor was pleasant. The location is very good. It is... more
